Professional lawn fertilization service providers will gather together May 4, 2018 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Greensboro–Airport in Greensboro, NC for the Lawncology® Pop-up: NC. The featured speaker is John Perry, author of the Lawncology series and President/ CEO Founder of Greene County Fertilizer Company and its parent company, Bio Green USA.

Lawncology“Lawncology has become a resource for professionals and ‘do-it-yourselfers’ alike,” said John Perry, CEO/Founder. “My intent is that all who attend will leave with a greater understanding of the role of soil in their lawn programs and with more knowledge to help them solve problems with a ‘nutrition first’ approach.”

Topics will range from “The Fertility Program” to “Adding Additional Service Offerings” paired with how to utilize this knowledge and wisdom in the operation of a lawn care business and in the field, exploring the customized fertility program in a production lawn service, among other topics.

Lawncology® is a method of both diagnosing common problems and understanding common practices in lawn care. These methods convert over into all professional plant care methods including row crop agriculture, arbor care, food production, and ornamental plant care. Lawncology looks at plants and soils, weeds and pests, as a cohesive unit rather than separate areas of study. This polarity of the “health vs disease” mentality begins to melt into a singular understanding of one not existing without the other.

A monthly topical series featuring Lawncology articles written by John Perry can be found on the Lawncology blog. Follow along with John as he travels the country, sitting down with customers, getting stories on how they grow their businesses, walking lawns, visiting shows, and showcasing businesses that have adopted these methods on the Lawncology YouTube channel.
