The RC Series from Delta-Q Technologies is a line of industrial battery chargers that includes two solutions—the RC900 and RC1200—for use in battery powered floor care machines. They are capable of charging both lead-acid (wet, AGM, gel) and lithium-ion batteries in battery-powered scrubbers, sweepers, and burnishers.

industrial battery chargersThe RC900 charger provides 900 watts of DC output power, respectively. It is available in 36VDC/25A and 48VDC/20A models for both on- and off-board configurations. AC input voltage range is 85VAC to 265VAC; maximum AC input current is 10.5A. AC/DC cabling is completely customizable. The RC900 measures 13.2″ x 7.9″ x 3.1″ and weighs 8.8 pounds.

delta-q-rc1200The RC1200 provides 1200 watts of DC output power, respectively, and is available in 36V/33A and 48V/25A models for both on- and off-board configurations. AC input voltage range is 85VAC to 265VAC; maximum AC input current is 14.5A. AC/DC cabling is completely customizable. The RC1200 measures 13.2″ x 7″ x 3.14″ and weighs 8.8 pounds.

The RC900 and RC1200 use Controller Area Network (CAN bus) communications to enable deep machine integration, diagnostics, and control. They feature a multi-colored LED indicator for battery status, charging, error, and faults indication; interlock control; battery temperature sensing; and a remote LED. They also offer auto-recharge for low voltage in maintenance mode and are OEM customizable with a field replaceable cable design for battery and signal cables.

The RC Series industrial battery chargers offer IP66-rated ingress protection to seal out dirt and fluids. Mechanical design and component selection resists vibration, shock, and temperature extremes. Operating temperature is -4°F to 149°F, storage temperature is -40°F to 185°F, and active cooling enables peak charger performance.

Delta-Q Technologies is now accepting RC900 and RC1200 sample requests, with full commercial production beginning in Q1 2017.
