CENTRIA, a provider of architectural metal wall systems, has expanded its MetalWrap insulated composite backup panel options with the introduction of MetalWrap Integrated Series, and Long Span Series. A barrier system for the building envelope, MetalWrap provides construction projects a high level of versatility.
“In terms of versatility, simplicity of installation and superior thermal and moisture performance, MetalWrap Integrated Series is the complete package,” says Jeff Peskowitz, Rainscreen Systems product manager at CENTRIA.
CENTRIA MetalWrap Integrated Series is designed to work as the backup system for CENTRIA metal cladding and all other cladding materials. It can be installed horizontally and is available in spans up to 24″. MetalWrap Long Span is available for projects that require backup panels in spans greater than 24″ and can be installed both horizontally and vertically.
The new MetalWrap Integrated Series features integral attachment systems — including the MR-100 and MR-300 rail systems as well as integral clips, pintles, and/or masonry anchors — for ease of installation of any cladding material such as metal, terra cotta, ACM panels, brick facades, and other rainscreens. This flexibility makes it a choice to consider for mixed-medium exteriors. The product offers 2″ and 3″ thicknesses to provide desired thermal performance. When paired with CENTRIA’s metal wall panel cladding, MetalWrap Integrated Series creates a complete rainscreen system solution.
The new MetalWrap Long Span Series provides flexibility when attaching the backup panel system directly to steel girts up to 6′. This option includes panel thicknesses up to 4″ for superior thermal performance.
The 10-year Weathertight Warranty provides an extra level of quality and performance assurance. MetalWrap panels have a foamed-in-place polyisocynaurate composite core for optimal thermal performance. CENTRIA’s Advanced Thermal and Moisture Performance (ATMP®) technology enables MetalWrap to provide a weathertight building exterior in less time required to install traditional multi-component assemblies.
