Kaleidoscope Flooring From Karndean

Meeting a range of environmental criteria, this custom collection features a variety of patterns and shapes to create compelling, zoned spaces in facilities.

Karndean has introduced Kaleidoscope, its custom collection of new compatible geometric formats. Available July 2016, this commercial flooring offering features six designs inspired by a variety of shapes such as Cubix (cubes), Hexa (hexagons), and Apex (chevrons). Using the company’s most popular colors from its standard ranges including wood, stone, and new solids, Kaleidoscope is designed to provide facility management and their architects, interior designers, and contractors the latitude to explore a wide variety of patterns and shapes to create compelling, zoned spaces in their buildings.

With Kaleidoscope, specifiers have the ability to introduce bright colors against wood and stone to create added visual interest.

As the shapes are cut from Karndean’s standard ranges, Kaleidoscope features wear layers ranging from 12- to 30-mil, making the collection suitable for a wide range of commercial applications, from office spaces and multi-family housing units to busy hospitals and restaurants. Meanwhile, Kaleidoscope retains the key technical specification qualities of the ranges, including authentic designs, slip resistance, and light reflectance value.

Like all Karndean products, Kaleidoscope meets a range of environmental criteria. It is FloorScore certified, eligible for LEED credits, and carries a low-VOC certification from the USGEI. Furthermore, Karndean’s adhesives are water-based and free from harmful emissions. Karndean Designflooring does not require sealing, is durable and versatile, and easy to maintain in commercial facilities.
