SARG Rock Grapple for Material Handling

The Sweep Action Rock Grapple provides for easier material handling, allowing the operator to own one tool to sort large or small debris.

The SARG™ (Sweep Action Rock Grapple) from Worksaver provides for easier material handling. With its patent pending design, it allows the operator to own one tool to sort large or small debris, resulting in low cost of ownership.

material handlingWith the SARG’s 66° of sweep, the operator can move rocks of varying sizes into the bucket. The sweep clamp operates like fingers moving material into, and retaining it in the bucket.

The SARG is designed for skid steers—small, rigid-frame, engine-powered machines with lift arms used to attach a wide variety of labor-saving tools or attachments. It can handle rocks, brush, logs, stumps, debris, scraps, and more. The front grapples operate in a sweeping action to pull rocks or debris into the bucket for easy site cleanup. The grapple design then retains the rocks or debris while the operator rocks the attachment to sift out the dirt. Bolt-on side plates hold smaller rocks in the bucket. They can be removed from the bucket to allow the SARG to handle logs and stumps.

The SARG model SARG-72 (Product No. 812120) weighs 1,194 pounds and has a 72″ overall width, a 34″ bucket depth, a 34″ upper grapple width, and a 45″ grapple opening. Model SARG-84 (Product No. 812160) weighs 1,375 pounds and has an overall width of 84″, a bucket depth of 34″, an upper grapple width of 40″, and a grapple opening of 45″. Both material handling SARGE products have a cylinder size of 2″ x 14″ and a tine diameter of 1.25″. Length of sweep is 21″.
