EvoClean Laundry Dispenser Accessories

Hydro Systems introduced Depletion Wands and a Low Level Alarm to complement EvoClean

Hydro Systems, an independent manufacturer of chemical proportioning and dispensing systems, introduced two new accessories to complement its EvoClean range of laundry dispensers. EvoClean is a Venturi-based, water-powered laundry dispenser for on-premise laundry (OPL) applications.

  • Depletion Wands – Depletion wands simplify laundry installations by allowing quick connections between a single chemical drum and three laundry dispensers. In addition to limiting chemical spills and speeding drum change outs, the depletion wands come equipped with a float switch that can detect and alert users to costly out-of-product conditions. This reduces the risks of poor results and rewashes.

  • Low Level Alarm – Hydro’s Low Level Alarm complements the depletion wand offering, allowing up to eight units to be connected to cover all chemicals in a typical OPL. The system minimizes rewash by detecting the signal from the depletion wands and immediately alerting users with an on-board buzzer. The alarm is simple to install, flexible, and can be powered directly from select Hydro dispensers or from a wall outlet as a standalone system.

EvoClean is compatible with the Total Eclipse Controller and includes an integrated flush manifold for quick product delivery to the washers. It is available in four, six, and eight product configurations with either low or high chemical flow rate. The laundry dispenser is designed to reduce installation time, service, and labor. Pre-wired power and signal cables eliminate the need to run conduit or terminate wires inside the dispenser. There are no squeeze tubes, which are generally changed every one to six months. Also, the integrated flush manifold eliminates the need to source and install multiple products. Everything that is needed comes together in a single, compact system and can be mounted with a bracket and two screws.

EvoClean uses less water because its eductor restricts flow to 0.5 GPM or 1.0 GPM, depending on the model. It also saves energy because it does not use AC or DC motors and reduces the risk of shock, because it utilizes low voltage inside the housing; it has been certified safe according to various global standards, including UL and CSA in North America and CE for Europe. In addition, the laundry dispenser system is backwards compatible with the Total Eclipse Controller, which can accommodate up to 20 formulas. The controller offers Auto Formula Select to simplify formula selection, as well as detailed reports on chemical usage, production, and costs.
