Ryan E. Doak, co-founder, POWER UP, said “Each year our relationship with The Maryland Jockey Club continues to grow and this year’s Preakness engagement is our largest yet. Preakness is a prime example of how our innovative solutions can be used by guests who depend on a fully charged device at large, all-day events. We are excited to bring the latest in charging technology to Preakness attendees, enabling them to stay connected during the moments that matter.”

For this year’s event, POWER UP has branded 55 of its charging tables for the Budweiser InfieldFest. Each table has a tempered glass top, and features Qi wireless charging, three standard electric outlets for laptops, six USB ports, and nine LED charging cables. POWER UP’s Charging Trailer has the capacity to charge up to 60 devices at a time and is fully solar powered. Attendees can find charging stations throughout the event and portable power by looking for the large, 18 foot POWER UP banners.

This is POWER UP’s fourth consecutive contract with The Maryland Jockey Club. In addition to providing charging technology specifically for Preakness 2018, POWER UP has been selected to supply custom charging tables with reclaimed wooden table tops for permanent installation in the new, two-level Stronach Group owner’s suite at the facility.
