1. What product(s) is FOS known for? How does this product help support facility managers?
Our web-based FOScore software platform integrates real-time facility data with project building, construction-cost estimating, reporting, and asset inventories. It enables efficient FCAs, powerful data analysis, and defensible capital planning processes. Our Simplebid rapid procurement platform caters to individual client needs and local statutes to optimize productivity between owners and contractors engaged in job order contracting.
2. What product will your organization introduce to facility management professionals in 2024?
FOS is introducing two new modules to our FOScore® FCA and capital planning platform — the KPI module and the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) module.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are metrics that help you track how well your facility is doing in achieving its goals. Our FOScore® KPI module features include:

The FOScore® Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) module is a tool to provide facility management teams with the ability to understand the total cost of ownership of assets over a 50-year outlook, giving our clients a dynamic solution that can be used to keep facility data up to date and inform tactical decision making.
3. How will this offering help facility management leaders acheive their goals in 2024?
If you’re a facility manager, it’s safe to assume that you know assessment methodologies are rapidly evolving. With our new TCO module, “first costs” and “known needs” are gathered from the FOScore® asset module. The TCO module is powerful yet flexible; default values can be set at the module and portfolio/site/building type levels, while asset-specific values can be entered for one-time or yearly recurring costs (this is a tiered structure). Our clients determine what level of detail is appropriate for their teams to get the best return on investment in data collection and analysis. In addition to interactive data grids that can be exported, interactive visuals are available to further illustrate the total cost of ownership over time.
